Photo/Courtesy The Worcester Detachment of the Military Order of the Devil Dogs has donated three hand-operated tricycles for children with disabilities to the Seven Hills Foundation. The Military Order of the Devil Dogs was organized in 1939 in Boston and promotes good fellowship among the different Marine Corps League Detachments. The tricycles will be used at a Fitchburg child care center operated by the Children's Aid and Family Services (CAFS), a Seven Hills affiliate. Area families will also be able to borrow them. The center produces musical, theatrical and educational performances and supports local artists. Photo/Courtesy The 11th annual golf tournament held by Leominster-based Montachusett Home Care drew 84 golfers to the Oak Hill Country Club in Fitchburg. The fundraiser supports the nonprofit's three volunteer programs, which help 4,000 elders in the Leominster and Gardner areas with tasks like grocery shopping, transportation to medical appointments and money management.
