STEPS AHEAD

Sullivan Benefits, with offices in Worcester, walked in the March for Babies last month in Worcester, to benefit the March of Dimes. The company has raised more than $125,000 for the charity in the 11 years it has participated. This year, the Sullivan team raised more than $12,500.

A PROMISE ON THE BOOKS

Framingham-based Mutual One Bank pledged $50,000 over three years to help build the Christa McAuliffe Branch Library in Framingham, awarding an initial $20,000. BOSTON PRIDE

Fitchburg-based IC Federal Credit Union raised nearly $400 for those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings with its Jeans for Charity program. The program, which began three years ago, has raised nearly $30,000 for various charities. BeeZers in Northborough hosted Chicago Hot Dog Day on May 8 to benefit Poodle Rescue of New England. A portion of every hot dog sold was donated to the organization.

For all of 2013, Arcudi Oil of Mendon is sporting the Veterans Inc. logo on one of its trucks and donating one cent per gallon of heating oil to the veterans’ non-profit group, based in Worcester.

Mexicali Fresh Mex Grill in Holden is donating 10 percent of all sales to help the Mountview and Davis Hill middle schools’ Destination Imagination team fund their trip to the 2013 Global Finals in Tennessee.
