Pulse check: Top reported reasons for not being insured in Mass.

Massachusetts had an uninsurance rate of 3.7 percent in 2014, among the lowest in the nation. Those who remained uninsured cited the following as factors:

Cost is too high75.3%
Don't know how to get insurance46.3%
Lost job or changed employers43.4%
Employer coverage not available40.7%
Lost eligibility for MassHealth or Commonwealth Care30.4%
