Red Bull Formula 1 chooses Simplivity’s tech

The Red Bull Formula 1 team has chosen SimpliVity to help get its technology infrastructure on track.
Westborough's Simplivity announced Monday that it will provide part of the IT backbone for the formula 1 team both on and off track. With SimpliVity, Red Bull Racing will crunch a huge amount of data to be successful in the automotive racing series where Red Bull has put together 154 wins and four double (drivers and constructors) world championships in 12 seasons. According to the IT team, application processes involving some real-time data processing was reduced by as much as 60 percent with SimpliVity, according to the company.
The Simplivity system combines computing, storage, network switching, replication, and more into one piece of hardware.
