Rehabilitative Resources names CEO

Sturbridge-based Rehabilitative Resources Inc. (RRI) announced Monday that experienced nonprofit leader Michael Hyland will become its new CEO.

Hyland, a Holliston resident, more recently oversaw the programs supporting adults with developmental disabilities and children with histories of abuse, abandonment and disabilities at Kennedy – Donovan Center.

“Mike’s strong commitments to ensuring people with disabilities have access to the opportunities they deserve, coupled with his ability to lead innovation and growth initiatives, make him a great addition,” said Donna Peters, acting president of the RRI board of directors.

Hyland will replace Michael Coughlin, who resigned Sept. 27 after nine months with the company. Interim CEO Dorothy Cote will return to her role as Assistant CEO and chief financial officer.

RRI has 45 residential site programs in Central Massachusetts for adults with developmental disabilities.
