ThermoEnergy Aims At China Market

ThermoEnergy of Worcester has launched a marketing plan to provide technology to China that would recover high-value and often toxic chemicals and metals from wastewater produced during the manufacture of photovoltaic solar panels, the company announced.

The company, which moved its headquarters to Worcester from Arkansas earlier this year, wants to boost its market share of China's nearly $500 million pollution control and abatement market, said Cary Bullock, ThermoEnergy's chairman and CEO. China is the world's largest manufacturer and exporter of photovoltaic solar panels, the company said.
