Two Framingham Office Buildings Sold For $6.8M

Two four-story office buildings on Speen Street in Framingham, visible from the Mass Turnpike, have been sold for $6.8 million, the buyer announced.

Genesis Management Group, a Boston-based firm, purchased the two properties in separate transactions from ASA International Inc. and the American Heart Association. The latter organization will continue to inhabit half of its building “for a short term,” Genesis said.

The buildings have been owner occupied for the past 20 years. They contain a combined 65,400 rentable square feet.

Genesis said it plans to modernize the lobby and improve office suites in the heart association building.

“The buildings fit the market really well and we look forward to bringing new space to the market at 20 Speen Street,” Robert King, CEO of Genesis, said in a statement.
