WBJ Talk Back: Cloud Computing, Wooing JetBlue, Biomass Regulations

HELP FROM THE CLOUD

What can cloud computing do for business? Here's one perspective from a member-launched LinkedIn discussion:

In my experience, the cloud can be extremely beneficial to any business, but there can be surprises and problems. The cloud is better for some aspects of a business than others. File storage is one option, but my clients have done more with email, backups and VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol).

FADE TO BLACK ON JETBLUE?

Will a Web-based video production effort to coax JetBlue to come to Worcester fly? This commenter has his doubts:

Why in the world would JetBlue consider Worcester? They have a large footprint at Logan and Providence. Worcester Airport is not much more than a cow pasture, has no major highway connections and no dedicated approach control. I think Jet Blue will be amused but will pass.
