WBJ Talk Back: Worcester WiFi, Super Bowl Pools

Free WiFi For Worcester?

Google plans to roll out free WiFi in a few selected geographies. Could it work here? There were two comments in this group discussion on our LinkedIn page:

Since Cambridge and Boston have hot spots it only makes sense that Worcester will eventually follow suit. The question is: Where do you have the highest concentration of people congregating at this point in time?
-- LinkedIn group member Ariel Dagan

The weak Internet infrastructure of Central Mass. is a competitive disadvantage. I would love to see Worcester get a little Google love.

Super Bowl Office Pools

With the big game less than two weeks away, we tossed up a timely topic: Does your workplace have rules governing office betting pools? Or do you leave it up to employees? Here's one response:

We don't have rules about this. Is this a rule that should just get buried in the employee handbook in a section that no one reads?
-- LinkedIn group member Matt Ward
