Westminster recovery center gets local CEO

As Pennsylvania-based Recovery Centers of America (RCA) continues a $231.5-million expansion into the northeast, it has named the new CEO of its Westminster location.

The company announced Thursday morning that Jack Maroney will serve as CEO of its Westminster center for addiction medicine set to open on Aug. 15. Maroney has 26 years of experience and is the founder of Spring Hill Recovery Center in Ashby, according to RCA.

The RCA at Westminster location is one of two new Massachusetts locations, with the other set to open in Danvers in October. The locations are part of an eight-center expansion by the King of Prussia, Pa. organization.

The company’s expansion is financed by $231.5 million in funding secured through New York City-based Deerfield Management Company.
