Worcester's Catholic Charities executive director steps down; interim named

Catholic Charities Worcester County’s Executive Director Catherine Loeffler will be leaving the organization, and Judith A. Zeh has been appointed Interim Executive Director.

The $9.5 million agency announced Monday that Loeffler, who has been with the company for 25 years, will step down on Aug. 1. Zeh has been with Catholic Charities Worcester County for 20 years, and has served as the Assistant Director since 2012. She is a graduate of Elms College and is the current president of its Alumni Board.

Catholic Charities Worcester County is a nonprofit social service agency with multiple programs to help people who are poor, homeless or infirm and to enhance the quality of life for all. The organization has approximately 250 employees, nine locations throughout Worcester County, and serves over 40,000 clients on an annual basis.
