ReWalk names former Boston Scientific VP to its board

Marlborough medical device company ReWalk Robotics has named Randel Richner, the former Boston Scientific vice president of global government affairs and reimbursement, to its board of directors, Rewalk announced on Monday.

Richner will assume her position on Nov. 1.

Richner has extensive experience in health policy, reimbursement, economics and data analytics, according to ReWalk. This includes serving as the industry representative Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Medicare Coverage Advisory Committee and establishing the global reimbursement and economics function at Boston Scientific, as well as founding Neocure, a firm advising industry on healthcare policy.

Boston Scientific is also based in Marlborough.

Richner holds a master of public health in health policy and administration and a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Michigan.
