Top Golfer McIlroy Signs With Bose

Rory McIlroy, the number-one ranked golfer in the world, has signed on with Framingham-based Bose Corp. as a global brand ambassador, the company announced.
Bose said McIlroy visited its Framingham headquarters before the multi-year agreement was finalized.
"Rory is a once-in-a-generation athlete," company president Bob Marseca said in a statement. "He loves music, just like we do, and we're thrilled to be a part of how he competes and relaxes."
The golfer owns a number of Bose products, the company said. The financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
