40 Under Forty winners (from left) Stephanie Weagle, William E. Aubuchon, IV, and Miriam Hyder

As part of Corero's executive management team, Weagle leads global marketing for brand, strategic positioning and go-to-market activities. Under her direction, the firm established a new product category to help Corero emerge as a market leader in the hotly contested distributed denial of service security space – successfully challenging much larger incumbents.

Weagle's strategy has made Corero a leading Central Massachusetts technology startup and enabled the company to cut through the noise in the cluttered and competitive industry.

By the time I am 50, I would like to accomplish...successfully raising two intelligent, thoughtful, respectful and independent young ladies.

What is your advice to young business people? Bite off more than you can chew. There is no better learning experience than stepping outside of your comfort zone.

Why do you work in Central Massachusetts? Most high tech firms are inside the I-495 belt. The stars aligned at Corero, as living and working your community has great benefits.

What is the first impression you want to give people? Someone who has added value to their day.
