Alexandra Bavosi comes to Enterprise Cleaning in Worcester as director of sales. She has more than 19 years of experience, and most recently worked in outside sales and marketing for Sterling National Country Club. In this Q&A she talks about how similar this position is to her previous experience, even though it's a new industry for her.

Q. How are you settling in at your new office?
I love working downtown. Everyone at Enterprise is so wonderful to work with.
Q. What's the biggest surprise you've had in starting the job?
Getting used to the downtown traffic flows.
Q. What challenges do you see in your new position?
Learning the actual cleaning technicalities, staffing, chemicals, equipment etc...
Q. How different is this job from your previous position?
The product is different but providing outstanding guest service is the same from business to business.
Q. How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?
Completely opposite.
Q. Where's the best place to get lunch near your new location?
I bring my lunch every day.
Q. What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
I strive for a new venture from year to year. One thing I know for sure, I'll be chasing my two children, who will be teenagers in 10 years.
