Auburn Distributor Extends Its Reach

Auburn-based Atlas Distributing Inc. has acquired A&E Distributors of Sterling.
The acquisition is expected to allow the beer and wine distributor to increase its business by 1.6 million cases per year.
With the A&E acquisition, Atlas will begin distributing nine new product lines, including Coors products, Mikes Hard Lemonade and Narragansett beer.
The company's operations will remain at its Auburn facility just off Southbridge Street. The company distributes beer and wine throughout Worcester County and in parts of Middlesex and Norfolk Counties.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
