Worcester-based Commerce Bank has hired Tulio Gasperini as vice president and director of corporate marketing and communications and John T. Kelley as vice president in the commercial lending division. It has also promoted Samir Rauf to vice president and credit officer.
Gasperini has worked in corporate financial services marketing and communications for more than 22 years. Before starting at Commerce, he worked for Citizens Financial Group, and, before that, for Bank of America and its predecessor companies. He lives in Lincoln, R.I.
Kelley worked for TD Banknorth before joining Commerce. He has also served on the board of the Frederick A. Rubin Fund of MetroWest. He is a graduate of Connecticut College and lives in Worcester.
Rauf has worked for Commerce since 2006 as an assistant vice president. Before that he worked for a number of foreign and American banks. He has an undergraduate economics degree from the University of Texas and a Master's of Science in accounting from the University of Delaware. He lives in Holden.
