Boundless Playgrounds in Bloomfield announced the following officers for the 2008/2009 term: Steve Shaw, chairman; Patricia Goldenberg, treasurer; Barbara Brown, vice president; David R. Miller, vice president of development; Peter Barzach, vice president of operations; and Lynn Luczkowski, secretary. The Hilton Hartford in Hartford promoted André Clarke to assistant general manager. Clarke was formerly director of operations at the hotel.
The Phoenix Cos. in Hartford promoted Stephen D. Gresham to head of product management and marketing for the asset management business. Gresham was previously the head of retail distribution at the company. The company also promoted Thomas Buckingham to senior vice president of product development for life and annuity. Buckingham was most recently vice president of life and annuity operations transformation.
Junior Achievement of Southwest New England in Hartford made the following appointments: Mary-Gail Smith, vice president of contributions, Dawn Conroy, district manager and Darchelle Hutchins, district manager. Prior to joining the organization, Smith was director of development at the University of New Haven. Conroy was previously a special education tutor in the Manchester Public School District. Hutchins was a special events coordinator at Junior Achievement before her promotion.
Trane in Farmington appointed William Carbone account manager. Carbone was most recently sales engineer, project manager and operations manager at J&G Mechanical.
Deborah Bradley joined Connecticut Community Care Inc. in Bristol as director of human resources. Prior to her appointment, Bradley was director of human resources at Saint Joseph College.
Comcast Spotlight in Hartford promoted Eric Bloom to vice president and general manager for the Southern New England region. Bloom was previously director of sales for The Hartford New Haven Interconnect.
