FRESH BEGINNINGS

  • The Heywood Hospital Heart and Vascular Center is officially open at 242 Green St. in Gardner. The new space includes a cardiac rehabilitation gym for patients.
  • Multimedia production company Proactive Business Network is now open at 2 Mt Royal Ave., Ste. 530, Marlborough.
  • Sterling Manufacturing, an injection-molding firm in Lancaster, is expanding its facility, primarily to accommodate six new machines weighing 30 to 340 tons each. The company’s cleanroom will also double in size.
  • Family Health Center of Worcester has renovated, reopened and renamed its dental suite, now the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Dental Suite. The expansion of dental services is part of a $9.1-million expansion of health services at the center, which serves low-income and culturally diverse residents.
  • Computers Down Under, a technology services business based in Leominster, opened a second location earlier this year at 244 West Boylston St., in West Boylston.
