2023 Best of Business

WBJ’s Best of Business awards are centered around one idea: referrals. With the other awards Worcester Business Journal gives out annually, such as 40 Under Forty, Business Leaders of the Year, or Outstanding Women in Business, the winners go through a nomination process and are selected by a vetted panel of judges. Poll Description

The Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave law went into effect in 2019. The program, funded through employee payroll contributions, enables workers to take up to 26 weeks of paid time off for reasons such as maternity and paternity leave, caring for a family member with a serious illness or injury, and managing affairs while a family member is on active military duty.
