Artic Cat Inc., a Minnesota-based manufacturer of all-terrain vehicles, will use software developed by Consumer Research Solutions Inc. (CRS) of Westminster.
CRS, along with www.GetPowersports.com, New England's largest virtual powersports marketplace, entered an agreement with Artic Cat for its On-Track Dealer web-based system, a program that allows powersports dealers to have a personalized website to showcase brands and products. In turn, Artic Cat dealers can use co-op dollars towards their annual website licensing and hosting fees for On-Track.
The site is dealer-controlled, and can update inventory for real-time sales. It also incorporates slide shows, request-a-quote functionality, and a secure consumer financing application.
There is also a cost benefit associated with using CRS' website management software, said John Tranby, marketing manager for Artic Cat. Dealers will pay $219 a month for the service, he said.
