Charlton Firm Gets State Contract

Charlton-based Ocean Promotions has been awarded a $1.2-million state contract that will be shared with five other vendors, the company announced.

The contract was a part of a larger $13 million contract issued by the Operational Services Division, which is an arm of the state's Executive Office for Administration and Finance.

Under the contract, Ocean and the other firms will provide printed promotional products to cities, towns, schools, police and fire departments and other governmental organizations throughout the state.

Christine Miller, owner of the six-year-old company, said she wasn't sure of the exact amount the contract would be worth for her firm.
