Clark Teams With Nuclea

Worcester's Clark University will host a new bioinformatics center in partnership with Pittsfield-based company Nuclea Biotechnologies.

Biomarkers and information are used to identify certain disorders to help doctors better diagnose them and create treatments for patients.

The Proteomic and Metabolomic Center at Clark's Worcester campus will include sample preparation equipment, an advanced mass spectrometry instrument and other biotechnology equipment.

Nuclea, which specializes in diagnostics and targeted therapy creation, has operations in both Pittsfield and Worcester.
