Cooney Joins Brain Injury Board

Timothy J. Cooney, former Worcester mayor and executive director of the Central Massachusetts Chapter of the National Safety Council, has been named to the board of directors of the Westborough-based Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts.
Cooney served as Worcester's mayor in 1987 and was a city councilor for 20 years. His achievements include introducing a probation alternative traffic school, a motorcycle training course, a regular and handicapped driving school and a safety center in Central Massachusetts.
