Cybex adds to board

Medway-based Cybex International Inc., a manufacturer of exercise equipment, introduced John McCarthy as their latest board member. McCarthy recently retired from the International Health, Racquet & Sportsmanship Association (IHRSA), where he was executive director.
McCarthy was responsible for forming IHRSA into the largest trade association in the world for the health club industry, and grew membership to 7,000 member clubs throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and South America.
Prior to his joining the board, McCarthy was responsible for developing the largest fitness-only show in the world, where CYBEX will introduce several new products next year.
