Digital Games Institute Set To Open

The Massachusetts Digital Games Institute is set to open at Becker College on Wednesday.
Along with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, there will be a panel discussion featuring the executive director of the International Game Developers Association.
The Massachusetts Digital Games Institute, or MassDiGi, will be housed at Becker and will foster the game development industry in the Bay State by combining resources from the industry, academia and the public sector.
MassDiGi will be housed at a newly acquired building at 80 William St., Worcester, which is where the panel discussion and ribbon cutting will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
