Got talent?

One in five CFOs say recruiting and signing skilled staff will be their biggest concern in 2008, beating out concerns over government regulation and increased competition.

A recent survey of 1,400 CFOs from across the country, conducted by staffing giant Robert Half Management Resources, found that concerns over finding skilled staff have gone up among CFOs in the past five years. In 2003, only 17 percent listed finding talent as a top priority, compared to 20 percent in 2008.

Meeting customer demands, increased government regulation, competition, adequate sales and financing rounded out the top five concerns of CFO's in 2008, according to the survey.
