Harrington/Hubbard Receives Mammography Accreditation

Harrington HealthCare at Hubbard in Webster has received a three-year accreditation for digital mammography from the American College of Radiology.
The accreditation is the result of a survey by the ACR, and follows a state Department of Public Health inspection in June when Hubbard upgraded to digital mammography technology. DPH is expected to make a second visit to Hubbard in about three months.
Digital mammography technology offers sharper images during routine screenings and diagnostic studies.
Soutbridge-based Harrington Hospital took over the operations of the 22-bed Hubbard Hospital in Webster in January.
