Harvard Businesswoman Wins Volunteer Award

Marie LeBlanc, owner of Transitions Liquidation Services Inc. in Harvard, has received the Greater Worcester Women in Development 2009 Volunteer Award.

LeBlanc is an overseer and member of the executive and nominating committees at Fruitlands Museum in Harvard. She is also secretary of the Central Middlesex Chapter Women's Council of Realtors, president of the Friends of the Harvard Council on Aging, a PTO volunteer and a lector and greeter at St. Theresa's church.

Women in Development promotes women's advancement in fundraising and development positions.
