IDC hires one to run retail research biz.

Framingham-based research, analysis and consulting firm IDC will launch its new retail industry research and advisory services division with Scott Langdoc as vice president of research.
Previously, Langdoc was CTO at Fujitsu Transaction Solutions, and has held executive positions at AMR Research.
IDC's new retail division will be the company's sixth "Insights" division launched in the last five years.
