Industrial Production Inches Up In Snowy February

Industrial production increased by 0.1 percent in February following a gain of 0.9 percent in the previous month, according to the Federal Reserve.

February's production was held back by snowstorms in the northeast, the Fed said.

Production was up 1.7 percent compared to February 2009. Manufacturing decreased 0.2 percent during the month. Mine output increased by 2 percent.
