Info Session Planned For QCC's Blackstone Valley Branch

The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting an information session Oct. 7 in Whitinsville to review a plan by Worcester-based Quinsigamond Community College to locate a branch within the region.
The event will be held at 10 a.m. at the Sing Theatre at Alternatives Unlimited. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Quinsigamond, which has a total enrollment of about 8,000 students, recently opened a branch in Southbridge where approximately 757 students enrolled this semester. In addition to exploring opportunities in the Blackstone Valley, the community college is also reportedly looking at opening a location in Marlborough.
