LAZ Parking Wins MBTA Parking Management Contract

Hartford, Conn.-based LAZ Parking Ltd., which manages four parking facilities in Worcester, has been awarded a management contract for 30 parking facilities at rail hubs operated by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, the company said.
LAZ manages the parking facilities at St. Vincent's Hospital, Gateway Park, 20 Pearl St. and the Federal Plaza Garage in Worcester.
The new MBTA management contract will add 25,242 parking spaces to the company's New England portfolio, bringing the total to 94,400 spots, according to the company. Nationwide, LAZ maintains more than 350,000 parking spaces in 14 states and 78 cities.
