Gov. Deval Patrick is heading to Israel and the United Kingdom this week, and so are several business leaders from Central Massachusetts.
The Massachusetts Innovation Economy Partnership Mission 2011, which starts today, aims to explore opportunities in the technology, life sciences, clean energy and financial service sectors for Massachusetts companies. The delegation includes state officials and business leaders.
Among those who are part of the trip are Tom Heiser, president of RSA, the security division of Hopkinton-based EMC Corp.; Devens-based American Superconductor's President and COO Daniel McGahnand Astrid Khokhar, director of business development and sales operations for AMSC's Windtec subdivision; and Framingham-based GlassHouse Technologies' COO Andy Norman and President and CEO Mark Shirman.
