Nasuni, a Boston-based cloud storage company with an office and large presence in Marlborough, has rebranded, refreshing the company’s logo, website, and brand messaging.

Nasuni’s new visuals feature the image of splashed liquid: a representation of the tech industry’s shift from rigid, hardware-based network attached storage solutions to more fluid, software-defined ones more apt for the hybrid cloud era, according to a Tuesday press release from Nasuni. The company cited research from Connecticut-based research and consulting firm Gartner estimating 60% of enterprise data will be hybrid by 2027, reflecting a 40 percentage point increase from 2023.

“Since our inception, Nasuni’s differentiator and main focus has been its customers, employees, and products. As we enter our next stage as a high-growth company, our refreshed brand represents the fluid nature of data infrastructure for a rapidly evolving hybrid AI world,” David Grant, president at Nasuni, said in the release. “Our file data platform is the key to managing cost, delivering outstanding data performance, providing world-class data protection, and enabling AI innovation. Our new brand communicates this more simply and succinctly.”

The rebranding comes as Nasuni experienced 46% growth in new customer annual contract value bookings with the addition of more than 120 new enterprise customers in its fiscal year ending in 2023, according to a Jan. 30 press release from the tech company.

Since August, Nasuni has also seen a major shift in its leadership team, including naming Michael Sotnick as senior vice president of business and corporate development, Nick Burling as senior vice president of product, Jim Liddle as chief innovation officer, and Asim Zaheer as chief marketing officer.

“A brand identity is so much more than logos and colors – it’s the foundation of everything that represents a company and embodies its key values. Nasuni’s rebrand reflects a modern identity for a modern product, keeping pace with the company’s technological innovation. Additionally, this initiative encompasses the insights provided from our customers, industry experts, and top analyst firms,” Zaheer, lead of the rebrand, said in the release.
