Nanoptek Corp. of Maynard is moving to a new location in town.
The renewable energy company said the new location at 63 Great Road will provide more room to grow. The company is leasing the property, a 6,050-square-foot section of an old mill building, from 63 Great Road Partners LLC of Concord. The deal was brokered by The Stubblebine Co. of Lexington and O'Brien Commercial of Berlin.
The building is already home to other research and development companies, and Nanoptek said its large floor plan will offer space for the company's expanding labs, product development and pilot manufacturing. The building includes a testing bay for pre-production prototypes of the company's solar hydrogen generator.
Nanoptek said it expects to move from its current location at 8 Clock Tower Place in early July.
