Monster.com: Most Employees Would Vote Boss Out

A poll conducted by Maynard-based job search firm Monster.com found that more than three quarters of employees would vote their boss out of his or her current role if given the chance.

Of the more than 2,400 people who responded to the global poll, only 24 percent would vote for their current boss to keep the position. Meanwhile, 30 percent would vote themselves into the manager's position instead; 25 percent would vote for another colleague to take over the role; and 21 percent would hope for a new candidate to enter the race.

"The fact that we see such a large percentage of people who would vote themselves into their boss's position shows many workers have confidence and drive, which is ultimately good for any organization," Mary Ellen Slayter, Monster.com's career expert, said in a statement.
