Worcester Restaurant Group promoted EVELIO HERREROS from chef to executive chef at VIA Italian Table in Worcester. Herreros formerly worked as executive sous chef at Gaslight, Brasserie du Coin in Boston. He lives in Shirley.

Northborough-based Bertucci’s Corp. hired LEN CARPENTER as chief operating officer. He most recently served as executive vice president of operations at the Ninety-Nine Restaurants. For the past two years, Carpenter has been a franchise owner and developer of The Meat House in Chelmsford. 

ZENON P. SZLYK of Dudley was named chairman of the board of directors of Webster First Federal Credit Union. A retired surgeon, he has served on the board for 43 years. LOUIS SROCZENSKI of Webster was named 1st vice chairman.

Concord law firm Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds hired HEIDI R. PICKREIGN and LAURA A. BROZEK as technology specialists. Pickreign earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., and a master’s in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y. Brozek has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD. in organic chemistry from Boston College. 

Oak Hill Country Club in Fitchburg elected JOHN CURRAN president of its board of directors. Also elected to board positions are: RICK BEAUREGARD; RAYMOND DENNEHY III; ANTHONY J. MERCADANTE; and TINA SBREGA. Curran is deputy fire chief in Fitchburg. Dennehy is president of Health Care Valuation Advisors Inc., as well as a Princeton selectman. Mercadante is a partner at Fitchburg-based CPA firm Mercadante & Mercadante. Sbrega is president and CEO of GFA Federal Credit Union in Gardner. Beauregard is a retiree and resident of Sterling.

The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts, based in Worcester, elected J. MICHAEL GRENON to serve on its investment committee and DENNIS L. IRISH to serve on its nominating committee. Grenon is vice president with Grimes & Co. of Westborough. Irish is vice president of marketing, government and community relations for Vanguard Health Systems’ New England market. 

Webster Five Cents Savings Bank named MARIA HARVEY assistant vice president and Auburn branch manager. She was most recently assistant vice president and branch manager at Citizens Bank in Framingham. Harvey has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Worcester State University and an MBA from Nichols College in Dudley. She lives in Worcester.

Ten Worcester Polytechnic Institute faculty members were promoted. JOSEPH FARBROOK has been promoted to associate professor of humanities and arts; MICHAEL GENNERT to full professor of computer science; DIANA LADOS to associate professor of mechanical engineering; JIANYU LIANG to associate professor of mechanical engineering; MARCUS SARKIS MARTINS to full professor of mathematical sciences; REETA PRUSTY RAO to associate professor of biology and biotechnology; ALI RANGWALA to associate professor of fire protection engineering; THOMAS ROBERTSON to associate professor of humanities and arts; ALEXANDER WYGLINSKI to associate professor of electrical and computer engineering; and HONG SUSAN ZHOU to associate professor of chemical engineering.

Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce hired W. STUART LOOSEMORE as director of government affairs and public policy. He was most recently general counsel and staff director working with the Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources & Agriculture in the state Legislature. Loosemore earned a bachelor’s degree in government from Clark University in Worcester and a doctorate from New England Law in Boston. He is a resident of Auburn. 

DMITRY FINKELBERG was named medical director of endoscopy services at Marlborough Hospital. He is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. Finkelberg has been on the Marlborough Hospital medical staff since 2010 and is also a member of UMass Memorial Medical Group. He lives in Holden.

United Bank, with offices in Central Massachusetts, promoted DANIELLE DRAPEAU and MARLENE CONLIN to bank officers. Drapeau joined the bank as a senior residential mortgage underwriter in 2008. She lives in South Hadley. Conlin joined United Bank’s finance department in 1986 and has served as an underwriter since 1993. 

Leominster Credit Union hired BRENDA BUJNEVICIE as assistant vice president of real estate lending operations. She most recently worked as vice president of lending at GFA Federal Credit Union, based in Gardner and before that, as assistant vice president of loan operations at Spencer Savings Bank.

Shrewsbury-based Elevation Exhibits & Events hired MARTHA WILLIAMS of Boston as an account executive. She has worked in marketing departments in fields ranging from crisis response to nonprofits to specialty retail, including Whole Foods Market. 

Framingham accounting firm Shepherd & Goldstein hired SEONGAE HAN as client relationship manager. Most recently, Han served as a director of corporate tax at Tilton Asset Management.

Rehabilitative Resources Inc. of Sturbridge appointed PETER CHICK of Dedham and LISA DALBERTH of Fiskdale to its board of directors. Chick, who owned a construction company before his retirement, has degrees from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., and Babson College in Wellesley. Dalberth, a vice president at Fidelity Investments in Boston, is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University in New Britain. She earned her MBA at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.
