Tighe & Bond Inc. has hired DAVID MURPHY as a project manager out of the firm's Worcester office. Murphy brings 20 years of experience in managing major design and construction, post-disaster reconstruction, and environmental programs. For the last several years, he served as the engineering and construction program manager for Catholic Relief Services in its tsunami relief and reconstruction efforts in Banda Aceh, Indonesia.
Fallon Community Health Plan in Worcester has appointed JANIS LIEPINS assistant vice president of market research and product development. He will be responsible for researching customer, industry and marketplace trends to develop and maintain a competitive product portfolio, as well as ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. Most recently, Liepins served as senior director of market research and planning at FCHP.
PAULA GREEN has joined Anna Maria College in Paxton as director of marketing and community relations. Most recently, she was vice president for account management at Conover and Co. Communications, where she was responsible for designing and implementing marketing and public relations, public affairs and crisis communications strategies.
Leominster Credit Union has hired LISA GUREVICH as branch manager of its North Leominster office at 1316 Main St. Prior to joining LCU, she was a manager at Bay State Savings Bank, Boston Federal Savings Bank/Encore Bank, and Fitchburg Savings Bank.
CATHERINE LEGAULT has joined Beauvais Insurance as a customer service representative. Legault was previously with the Don Legault Insurance Agency through Dec. 2006.
Dr. PHILIP GOTTLIEB recently joined the Clinton Hospital medical staff as the medical director of the hospital's Geriatric Medical Psychiatry Unit. Gottlieb is board certified in psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Gottlieb is also a member of the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry.
Boston-based UHY LLP, with offices in Westborough, has promoted LARRY KAPLAN to managing partner. He has been a partner at UHY LLP for 15 years and in public accounting for 22 years.
Savers Bank has hired STEPHEN DAY as a residential lending officer with responsibility for the origination of mortgages and home equity loans. Day has an extensive background in all aspects of residential mortgage and consumer lending and brings more than 25 years of lending experience to the bank.

Attorney LINDA CAMMUSO has been appointed associate in the Estate, Business & Tax Planning-Estate and Trust Administration Department at the law firm of Fusaro, Altomare and Ermilio, located in Worcester. She joined the firm in 2005 as a law clerk while she completed her studies. Before joining FA&E, she served as a law clerk for the Worcester County District Attorney's Office.
JIM GOMES, director of the Mosakowski Institute for Public Enterprise at Clark University in Worcester and former president of the Environmental League of Massachusetts, has been appointed chairman of the board of the Massachusetts Environmental Trust. The trust is an appointed body that advises the state Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs on grants ranging from $5,000 to more than $100,000 for environmental protection and education projects.
Lenze-AC Tech of Uxbridge recently announced two personnel changes. CHRISTINE CLANCY was named customer service manager. She comes to Lenze from Thermo Fischer Scientific, where was customer support manager. DANNY MCDONALD was appointed vice president of North American sales, a newly created position. McDonald was previously director of sales for the company.
DIERDRE C. QUEALEY has been named admissions director at AdCare Hospital in Worcester. She joined AdCare as a nurse in 2002 and was promoted in 2003 to nurse manager on the detoxification and rehabilitation units.
The Center for Educational Leadership and Technology of Marlborough announced that LORRIE LANGILLE has joined the organization as a program coordinator. Langille was previously technology director at Northbridge Public Schools.
The United Way of North Central Massachusetts elected new officers and directors at its annual meeting. STEVEN L. STONE, executive vice president of Sterilite Corp., was elected chair and Dr. BRUCE J. MAN, Medical Associates Pediatrics, was elected to vice chair.
