NameMedia Nixes IPO Plans
NameMedia Inc. of Waltham has withdrawn plans for an initial public offering.
The company, a buyer and seller of domain names, withdrew a November 2007 filing with the Security and Exchange Commission declaring plans for an IPO worth as much as $172.5 million.
The company had said it intended to use the proceeds from the IPO to pay off debt and for working capital.
