No Need To Block Amazon

Employers worried about workers shopping online at work during the upcoming holiday season, instead of actually working, have no need to be concerned, according to a recent survey.

The survey, conducted by California staffing firm Accountemps, found that 79 percent of employees said they will not shop online while at work this holiday season.

The 21 percent of workers who said they will be shopping on the company dime, however, said they will be doing so in a big way, spending 2.7 hours per week shopping online instead of working.

The survey was based on phone interviews with 539 workers nationwide.
