No rest for the cubicle-bound
Looking forward to a lighter workload around the holidays? Too bad.
Results of a recent Accountemps survey suggest that most office workers will have either the same amount of work as usual, or even more work than usual as the end of the year approaches.
Accountemps, an international temporary staffing firm focused on the accounting industry, said 42 percent of respondents to its survey said their workload would stay the same during the holidays. Another 28 percent said they expect their workload to increase with an abundance of year-end projects.
Accountemps said 26 percent of respondents expected their workload to decrease.
