Northborough IT Firms Merge
Swiftec IT and SK Technologies Inc. have merged.
Under the new arrangement, the SK Technologies Inc. name will no longer exist. The combined company will retain the Swiftec name. Steven Ka, SK's president, is now accounts executive and marketing director at Swiftec.
The combined company will offer IT services to customers that neither firm offered on its own. Those services include help desk support, security audits, web design and hosting. The company will also offer improved remote monitoring under the new structure.
Swiftec is a computer network services firm based in Northborough. SK has offices in Northborough and Worcester.
The SK merger is Swiftec's fourth in the last three years. The company specializes in IT services for businesses and was founded by engineer and Clark University MBA Adam Winter.
