Operon acquired by San Diego staffing firm
Steve Sawin, former president and CEO of Operon, will become a senior vice president with Eastridge Workforce Solutions.
Operon, a healthcare production staffing agency based in Lowell with offices in Devens and Clinton, has been acquired by a California-based company.
Eastridge Workforce Solutions headquartered in San Diego announced the acquisition last week.
Operon, a leading staffer of product manufacturers for medical and pharmaceutical devices, is the only ISO 13485 registered staffing company in the country, allowing it to provide purpose-built solutions for regulated medical device manufacturers, according to a press release from Eastridge Workforce Solutions.
Operon’s management team is staying in place, with former President and CEO Steve Sawin becoming a senior vice president with Eastridge.
