Fitchburg-based IC Federal Credit Union donated $1,140 to the Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster. The money, raised from the IC Jeans for Charity event, will be used for program scholarships. Applebee’s, with restaurants in Central Massachusetts, is participating in the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation fundraiser. The goal is to raise
$6 million.
Natick-based Middlesex Savings Bank announced $345,272 in grants. Recipients included MetroWest Legal Services in Framingham; Gaining Ground in Concord; and the Town of Bellingham.
Southbridge Credit Union donated $5,000 to the Chamber of Central Mass. South’s Regional Economic Development Organization.
