Photo/Courtesy Teens from the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest helped organize, and raised money for, the American Cancer Society's 2010 Relay for Life at Ghiloni Park in Marlborough. Clubhouse members began their involvement with the event last year, but this year it hit close to home because Tim Dowdy, a 7-year-old member of the Framingham Clubhouse, has been fighting cancer for the past 10 months. The Framingham group won Best Team Theme for their “Coming Together for a Cure” theme, complete with Red Sox and Yankees gear. The Marlborough Clubhouse helped plan, set up, and clean up after the event. Pictured: Framingham Clubhouse Keystone Club members and staff member Kim Welsh.
