Photo/Courtesy Fitchburg-based Arc Community Services has received a $600,000 anonymous gift from the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts. The money will go toward a facility renovation and provide production space for job training to prepare individuals with disabilities for jobs in the community. A family resource center and career center for job seekers with disabilities are also in the plan. A million dollars more is needed to complete the renovation.
