Raytheon Gets $217M Contract

Waltham-based defense contractor Raytheon Co. has received a $217 million U.S. Navy contract for radar arrays, with part of the work to be performed at the company's Surveillance and Sensor Center in Sudbury.

The two "volume search radar arrays" are for the Zumwalt-class destroyer program and the USS Gerald R. Ford. Under the contract, Raytheon will procure materials for the arrays and manufacture, test and deliver the systems.

Work will be split between the Sudbury site and a Lockheed Martin location in New Jersey.
