On Nov. 1, Massachusetts became one of 16 states to charge sales tax on items bought on Amazon.com. State officials believe the deal with the ecommerce giant will add nearly $37 million to state coffers by the end of June. In last week's Flash Poll, most respondents said the deal will help the state's retailers — at least a little.
