Readers weigh in: Snow? Cold? Just another day in Central Mass.

In simplest terms, the weather in January and February was brutal, with lots of snow and sub-freezing temperatures. Meanwhile, March began as it usually does, coming in like a lion. The manufacturing industry, in particular, experienced a production drop in January and an increase in inventories, according to the Institute for Supply Management, with weather seen as a factor. Here, most respondents to our poll during the week of March 3 said the weather didn't impact revenue. For most of the rest? It hurt.
